You can define the scope of webhooks at the campaign, client, or user levels, ensuring seamless integration and automation. Follow these simple steps to get started:
Step 1: Create a Webhook URL
Log into your Smartlead account. Head over to your settings page
On the left panel, click on Webhook
This URL serves as the endpoint where data will be sent when the event occurs. You can create this URL using automation platforms like Make, Zapier, or n8n.
Step 2: Create the Webhook in Smartlead
Click “Add Webhook” and enter the necessary details, including the webhook URL and the event types you want to track.
The webhook URL can be retrieved from the automation platform you used to set up the webhook.
Define the webhook's scope (campaign, client, or user level).
Select the Event Type that corresponds to the action you want to track.
Once you have filled in all the necessary information, click on Add.
Alternatively, you can test whether the webhook works by clicking the "Send Test To Webhook" button.
